The New York Jets are having a difficult time replacing Jason Ferguson at DT, and for good reason. But Wright, considered the best DT in this year's draft, should provide immediate help and give the Jets more depth at a position that was at one time their strength.

I can almost guarrantee that the Jets will go offense with their number one pick. It is true, there defense has been bad this year, but thats because the offense can't stay on the field for more than 3 plays at a time. They will go, as I said in the jets forum, with a: QB, RB, or RT.

21) Chicago Bears OLB Ernie Sims
The Chicago Bears need outside linebacker help and Ernie Sims is a talent. Similar to Randy Moss of 1998, Sims would get drafted MUCH higher without consistant off the field college problems. The Bears can take a chance on Sims, especially with a leader like Brian Urlacher leading the defense.

If Vince Young is still around, as you say he will be, I doubt the Bears would pass on him. I do like Sims and would love to see him in Chicago, but I hope the Bears draft somebody on the other side of the ball.

I really think the bears would do better to grab a young talented WR or TE. I think adding a pass threat beyond Mussin is a much more pressing need, and could allow a just mediocre QB to manage their games easier, and would do more good for that defense by relieving some of the pressure.
