Larry Johnson will be overvalued next year. The Chiefs are in a serious state of decline on offense with Roaf, Shields, and Green all showing signs of age. Vermiel could be gone as well. No way Johnson is a top 3 pick for all these reasons.

DeAngello Williams, Reggie Bush & Lawrence Maroney could make it near 12ish if they land on the right teams.

I wouldn't :-P

Kidding, of course. But seriously I can already see the arguement stemming up for next year, and that's how the heck people are ranking Willis ahead of Jackson and Jordan....I'd take Jackson or Jordan ahead of Willis without thinking twice about it.

Rudi Johnson and Curtis Martin don't make the list.. =)

I'd probably rank Jones ahead of Jones... ;-)

Agreed.
I was thinking the exact same thing - Willis is a top 5 pick? :-?
Not in my book.

Jackson's position is going to depend on who is the head coach. If Martz is back, which I doubt, he moves out of my top 10. If Martz is gone Jackson goes into my top 5.

well, i'd say he's likely to improve (willis) but next year there is gonna be a whole crop of underachievers hanging around after the first round in terms of RB (K. Jones, D. McAllister(inj) Jamal Lewis, Portis, Domanick Davis) along with your general second string talent/situation in rudi, westy, rookies of this year, etc. That makes me think that the first few picks are looking good for next year. as LT and SA should be huge, and there are some guys with mega upside that will last.
ADMIN edit: please note that the overall sig limit is 12k - thanks!

Reading this post made me think of the following related question:

Who is the best FF receiver (who should be taken first) in next year's draft? R. Moss doesn't look like the overwhelming top choice, even when healthy. TO -- way too many question marks. Marvin Harrison? -- still good, but showing age.

Torry Holt? Steve Smith? Chad Johnson?
"Happy life day!"
