Lamar Gordon is starting....

Postby Warpigs » Tue Sep 16, 2003 2:13 pm

Just heard that Lamar Gordon will be starting as St. Louis' full back. He put up decent numbers Sunday, and could be somewhat useful fantasy-wise if he gets some goal-line carries. What does everyone else think? Will Gordon be useful fantasy-wise from the Ram FB position?

If Lamar Gordon is the starting FB, all that proves is that the Rams have no confidence in the two TE's that they planned to start there: Cleeland, and Mamalam(the other TE).

Faulk is a goalline back regardles. Unless and until Faulk gets injured Gordon is worthless.

I wouldnt say he is totally worthless.....but then again, how many fullbacks have you started lately in your fantasy league...Gordon does offer nice running and receiving skills from the FB position, however, as a Faulk owner, I'm worried about his blocking. IF you played in a REALLY DEEP fantasy league, that started say...3 RB's and a flex position...you might would give Gordon a look...In your more traditional leagues though I'd have to agree with mtarail and say that Gordon is so hit or miss that he becomes pretty much useless. Unless you have a crystal ball.
