SOCOM 3 - anybody?

Anybody here got this one yet? I was thinking of asking the wife to get it for me for Christmas and I'm looking for opinions...

First 2 were tight, this one looks good. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck. So in other words its good.

hey bro, i have this game. it is completely different than the first 2.

i was a huge fan of the first 2, but this is a whole new ball game.

first of all, The maps are HUGE, and you get to play with 32 players in one game in online mode .

weapons are virtually the same as S2,with a few add ons. but the cool thing is, you can add up to 2 accessories to your gun. you can put on silencers,scopes,rifle lasers,GL's, that kind of stuff.

If you are planning on playing online, this game is a must have, the new maps and more capcity for players makes it a great game to play online.

Also, there are vehicles added, which is pretty tight, but can get annoying at times(getting run over).

if you are gonna play online,(im guessing you will) get a headset if you dont have one already, it really is neccessary with the new mission types, and more players.

you really have to work as a team in this game, which makes it fun.

I would Give this game a A-(the servers are a little whacked out, thats why it got the -)

I know the last post was like two months ago but I just wanted to add this for the hell of it. Socom 3 was one of the worst games I haved played in a long time, Socom 2 was just better in my opinion. I won't launch into a major rant as to why this game is so bad since I doubt anyone cares anymore, but I just wanted to throw in my two cents.

Also, when playing online I kicked a ton of ass so if anyone responds, sucking has nothing to do with why I don't like it.
