Major problem with our league

Ok having a problem with our MONEY league. The guy in last place (team name Hou Texans) decides that he is to far out to have any shot at winning decides hes going to pick up the whole texans team and start them. So he is benching decent players and plugging them in with the texans players. Then makes a trade for dominick davis for Brian westbrook (which i dont think is fair, seeing that DD is injuried). The commish (who got wesbrook out of the deal) just laughed about it and said he could start whoever he wanted to start. Now, i personally think he is putting the money league in a bad situation by giving away easy wins. I personally had to play him twice before he did this, now other will have easy games. Is there anything I can do?

State your case to the league, if they don't back it walk and don't play again next year.

Haha, we have another boob from Texas in one of my leagues, except he's a Cowboys fan. His record is 1-9 and here is his roster:

Well that sucks, but it's his money his team. If he starts making really stupid trades do your best not to let them go through.

If it's a money league and he keeps doing and nobody else cares I would probably quit the league. That's just sucky.

And reconsider the league in general if they don't have a problem with it. Definitely the commish needs a new job.

I think it depends on the situation. Is he tanking it because he wants a better draft pick next year or is it because he is out of the playoff hunt and this is the only way he can keep it fun for himself?

Unfortunately, most basic leagues don't have any incentive for teams to try to win once it is clear they can't make the playoffs. Quite the contrary, many leagues have parity rules that give you draft priority next year for being bad this year. This is actually disincentive to try to win. The fact is, a bad team is a bad team, whether the guy made it that way on purpose or not.
