Wasn't Erickson supposed to open up the offense?

The SF defense looks much more aggressive this year, which I like, but their offense doesn't look much different to me. Have they thrown a deep ball yet this year? Also, the lack of balls thrown TO's way in the Rams game was a crime. They could have put the Rams away in the 1st half and failed to do so.

Not that Erickson can't be a pro coach, I just don't see him able to take the 9ers to "the next level".

Cheers to the 9er offense however (sans Seahawk matchups) I just traded for Owens!

IMO the niner offense didn't need fixing...no one runs the west coast as well as they do...it was the D that needed help, more over they need time to learn..which is now what we are seeing...their exp is coming into play and they look better..
