Its all fun to discuss b/c there hasn't really been any bigtime news as of late except the whole TO thing and everyone and their mother is sick of that crap.

I mean someone started a top 10 QB thread so I thought i'd chime in and give my input. That doesn't mean i'm out of playoff contention. Its just fun to discuss sometimes as long as its not overblown

in my case my team is already out of contention(Ravens) and can not wait for FA and the draft to see what the ravens are going to do.

Although mostly all of teams are in good shape, it is never too early to get ready for next season :)

That was probably mine, kidding of course, but he is seriously my number # 2 scorer for the year and about number 10 or 11 in my league for overall scoring. He is the prime example of why you should never draft a kicker early

For me personally, its something fun to have a discussion about during the week. I just wish that there were more Thursday games to break up the week a little bit. If I ever become commish of the NFL I promise to change this. ;-D

One reason.
Some Owners that play in Keeper/Dynasty leagues have decisions to make before the trade deadline. Its like Baseball. Do you sell the farm to win this year. Drop Payroll. Or make moves to trade Vets for Future considerations. These league are always thinking of the future. Years ahead. In one league i am thinking 3 years ahead. I love that league.

Reason #2. Never hurts to share your opinions.

Well, on top of the fact that a lot of fantasy teams have been eliminated from playoff contention, there is also the fact that a lot of real life teams have been similarly eliminated, and we're starting to get a good idea of what the draft order may look like and who the top college and free agent prospects will be in the off-season... So, it's something interesting to consider... I mean, if you're a fan of teams like: Houston, San Francisco, New Orleans, Oakland, NY Jets, Baltimore, Arizona and Cleveland, there isn't much to talk about outside of how to fix the team for next year....
