I didn't see this posted, the fight was brought to national attention on Monday, I think...maybe I missed it. :-?

there was a bengals fight, too. let's face it: these guys are in a competitive and physical environment. a good few are none to sharp in the gourd, so any simple comment in the wrong context might provoke some bullish preening. that's all this stuff appears to be.

As he was being escorted out the door, Miller turned around and went toward Kreutz, the newspaper reported. Kreutz then hit him in the face and Miller responded by striking Kreutz in the head with a 5-pound weight, opening a cut that required 13 stitches.

Wow, sounds like he broke his jaw in a single clean blow.

(Aha! Dissention in the ranks of the bars! the NFC North shall be ours!)

At lot of scuffles take place in locker rooms and on the practice field and we don't hear about 90 percent of them. I think with the Owens/Douglass scuffle making news, a lot more scuffles like that are getting press. It's really nothing new to football, just new to us because we are hearing about them more as of late.

They are investigating themselves, not the Bears. They are considering changing their policies on civilians being allowed on the premises.

Kreutz is a maniac. This is the second jaw he has broken that we know of. He did it in college, where the HC kicked him off the team until he got anger management counseling. I certainly don't want to be the guy that lines up against this mad dog.
