Better second half.. Westbrook or McGahee

So who is gunna have a better second half of the season? I had an argument with my buddy. He thinks Westbrook. I say no way cuz he is going to do nothing without TO and McNabb on the field. I personally think McGahee has a better running game..

McGahee is better period. I would have rather had him in the 1st half as well because he is a lot more consistent.

Not sure where everyone is coming from saying McGahee is clearly better and is more consistent.

The numbers say they have equal value after 9 games.

I would be happy with either but if I had to choose I would go McGahee just because Philly is decimated by injuries and drama.

If Philly was at full strength I think they would finish about the same statistically.

Westbrook - 924 Total Yards, 6 TD's = 122 points

Points by week - 16, 17, 32, 6, 3, 9, 15, 7, 17

McGahee - 973 Total Yards, 4 TD's = 115 points

Points by week - 12, 3, 20, 15, 14, 22, 8, 15, 6

Westbrook scored 15+ points in 5 out of 9 weeks

McGahee scored 15+ points in 5 out of 9 weeks

In a Points Per Reception League Westy has more value than Mcgahee, in a regular scoring non-PPR league Mcgahee has the advantage

Once they shut McNasty down for the rest of '05 Westy's gonna have a big ol' Bullseye on his forehead.

Losman's back at QB in Buffalo, so that offense just went to crap.

My (slight) vote would be McGahee, but I'm not crazy about his chances either (which is just B-yoo-tee-full. My $$$ tandem of Dillon and Willis is set to garner some serious lead feather action.)

Regular scoring, it's McGahee by a slight margin.

My vote also goes to McGahee. I own him in money league this year and he has been pretty solid. Last week he struggled, but generally speaking he is pretty consistant. With 20+ touches a game.

I think why most people are hesitant (including myself) to say Westbrook is better, is that the bulk of his yards come from recieving. And when recieving you are relying on the QB to get you the ball. When running the ball, the ball gets to you gaurunteed (hopefully )
