Who takes special pains to assure the day after the Superbowl is an off day from work? Do you spend a vacation/personal day in advance to make sure you get it off, or do you call in "sick"? I'm just curious because this will be my first year where I have been granted permission to have the day off legitamately. What do you do that next day, recuperate from the hangover by staying in bed, get some housework done, or never get home in the first place? I think this year I will buy the new Madden and replay the Superbowl to make it go the way I think it should have happened. And recuperate.

How many of you poor souls will go in and suffer all day from the hangover?

I make sure that I watch the game even if I am actually sick, as in can't stand without throwing up sick. Luckily though, I've never had a real job during the winter months between college and high school, so I've never had to use a sick day, but this year, I feel a cough coming on for the winter. ;-)

Just tell 'em you developed Temporary Glaucoma and can't see comin' to work.

I'm that way about OSU-Michigan. I just won't miss it. Can't After watching the last 26. (27 after tomorrow) I'd sooner get a new job. (I figure I was lookin' for a job when I found this one..)

Yeah, pull a castanza, that'll surely work. Tell them there's an intervention for a relative. That's ironic.

I usually do, but since we start drinking at like 9 am, none of us usually last until past 10pm or so! I just hope I don't have to work this year....our company is doing shipments on Sunday afternoons...I'll die if I miss the SB!
Doesn't it suck to get beat at Fantasy Football...by a girl?
