hosed. absolutely hosed. on 2 calls. both reviewed. both upheld. both calls were wrong. wait for the highlights on college gameday. OU got ripped off.

Really...I just saw the blurb showing Tech won as time was expiring...

yeah one was a bad spot on a 4th down. ball was tipped and a tech wr and ou dback came down with it. struggled for posession, and tech got it...was given a good half yard extra on the spot for a first down. then with 4 seconds left ball on the 2, tech runs a draw play and the guy gets tackled and while he's on the ground he stretches the ball out, doesn't get over the line, the give it a second stretch and the ref calls a TD. bogus.

Agreed. Cant believe that wasnt overturned on replay. What a charmed season for TT. Thats 2 losses they shouldve had, but escaped in the waning seconds.

i have heard rumor that bob stoops was called by the ncaa and was issued an apology for the way those calls were handled.

it doesn't sound like something that is true...but it would make sense. apparently the official review tapes were different angles than the ones broadcast and both of the calls were blown by at least a yard.
