Where will they be in 2006 - D. Rhodes & C. Taylor?

Both these guys I think have a shot at starting as a #1 RB next year.

First, do you agree with Rhodes being a starter next year, or do you think Indy retains both he and Edge?

Second, who do you think will be the better player?

I give the Edge to Chester...

WHY?

Because in Baltimore, both RB's are free agents (Taylor and Lewis) after this season... There is virtually ZERO chance that the Ravens can afford to sign both of them after they sign their top-6 draft pick next year, so one of them will be cut... Which virtually guarantees that Chester Taylor starts somewhere... Either for the Ravens, if Jamal is released, or for whoever picks him up off of free-agency...

In Indy, odds are good that Edge gets released, but it's certainly not a sure bet.... There is every possibility that they manage to sign Edge, OR that they bring in another RB if they release him - one who will be less expensive, but equally qualified....

If Rhodes gets the job he'll be the better fantasy play, but I think Taylor is a lock to be an NFL starter next year....

I think your right Plindsey....

I am just trying to decide if Ravens O-line is to blame to for Lewis's lack of production or is it him? I think its both, but I feel that C. Taylor is explosive in a way that Lewis isnt.

If both guys stayed with thier current teams and started, I would take Rhodes. If anyone out there in Baltimore or INdy wants to weigh in, I would appreciate it.

At this point, they can't really justify anything else except for reasons of pure nostalgia. Chester has simply outperformed Jamal is nearly every game.
