Fauria?

Postby napman » Wed Sep 17, 2003 10:55 am

I currently have D. Jolley at tight end. Don't really have the room to carry 2 TE. I noticed a lot of predictions are high on C. Fauria from NE. His numbers are good so far but what do you think over the long haul? Jolley, I thought would post good numbers this season(especially with Porter's injury). Do I keep Jolley or pick up Fauria? Fauria has a couple of TD's, but only 2 catches in each of the first 2 games. Thanks for any help. ;-D

A couple of catches per game is normal for non stud TE's. fauria did well last yr and should do so again this yr. Jolley should have had better games so far this yr than he has had, because porter has not been there.

I'd rather have fauria for the long haul.

Fauria is inconsistent, but he gets quite a few TD looks for TE, and brought down 7 TDs last year. I'd look for him to do similar this year.

Every Patriot who can catch a ball should be good for a TD against the Jets. The defense will have all it can do to slow down the wideouts ... they can't cover Fauria too.
