Quick help with sig-making

Postby Trojan Explosion » Tue Nov 22, 2005 11:05 pm

I am trying to make a sig for my team, the Trojan Explosion. I was wondering how you guys make your extractions of players come out so clear. My tend to come out with extra garbage around the player. I am using Photoshop 7

Thanks for the help in advance ;-D

My sig now is a link to my current sig, to big for cafe limits though. As you can tell, Brees is pretty chopped up.

The very best way to deal with a chopped out pic is to add a glow around the player... that makes it look more natural and not chopped up...

There are a bunch of different methods that work really well, I zoom in on the pic to 1600% and use the pen to outline the player. Then I use the selection tool to make the selection and then I can pull out the player. With practice the pen can be the most accurate. Then do what Danleroi said.

pen tool is the way to got by 1600 I just go a 400 or 500 makes it much faster and really loses no quality when you compress them for a sig
