Im in a $50 leauge with friends, with $10 prize weeks. Screw making money on this, I dont think thats what its about. Maybe theres 2 different types of people here. Just like in poker- some play to win the money, others play with money but regardless of outcome, think that the fun they had at the table is worth the money they lost, if they did lose.

More importantly, how do you make 12K in 4 weeks playing FF? Doesn't the payout generally come at the end? If it was that high stakes, and you didn't know SA, why would you risk that amount of cash, unless you are Michael Jordan and have nothing else to spend your $$ on? Inquiring minds want to know.

Heck, I play in a few leagues for free and for fun. Granted, some of the owners probably aren't as competitive as they should be, or would be in a pay league, but it is ALL about winning the game for me.

Then again, $12K would pay lots of bills for me...

I'm guessing he meant that FF helped him know the players in-depth so he could make more educated bets.
