The commish deactivated players with games on Thanksgiving off manager's rosters because he said he was not contacted that they should be active. It is a CBS.Sportsline league, and the rosters were set and valid through CBS.Sportsline.com. The commish took the league over mid season, and is turning into the Fantasy Football Nazi. There is a rule that states that for Thursday and Saturday games the commish must be notified before the games that the players should be active. This is an old rule that was used before the league got set up fully on Sportsline. Right after this stated rule is a rule that states, if no roster is turned in, then the previous weeks roster will be the default. The commish went in and manually deactivated all Thanksgiving players on people's team. There are playoff implications at stake, and one team had Crumpler, Dallas, and Elam...all deactivated manually by the commish. Sportsline now states the rosters are invalid because it doesn't reach the minumum for position requirements. This is a money league....... is the commish in the wrong?

PS....the new commish is the only manager not to pay his full fee for the year.

Thats tough. If there is a rule that states players playing on Thursday or Saturday must be turned into the Commish directly, and the rule was never abolished when you guys got set up on Sportsline, not sure what can be done. Now I dont agree that its fair to force a team to loose. If the line up is in, leave it. Had they forgot to put in those players in, that would be different. If it were my team I'd raise hell.

you ever read one of those books that have crazy rules. You know, like its illegal in Idaho to ride an elephant. Weird stuff like that. Well, thats b/c laws cant be abolished, just ignored.

the law in your league is like that, it SHOULD be abolishee, but ignore it this year.

and make that commish pay up

Just make sure any active players are in the lineup 5 minutes before game time of any game who gives a crap if it's Thursday or Friday or Crapday. That commish just sucks make him payup or else.
