NO respect

I'm getting tired of getting NO love from anybody about our success.

We played JAX tough on the road... "but you lost"
We beat ATL at home... "they were on short rest and on the road"
Any divisional win... "you're in the weakest division, you should win those games"
We played WAS tough... "but you lost"
We beat Dallas... "you were at home and you barely beat them"
Winning v. NYG... "you shouldn't be happy about that win"
When we bea TEN "your supposed to win that game"
When we beat PHI "they already fell apart"
When we beat IND "they were taking it easy cause they clinched, and you were at home"
When we beat Green Bay "oh, Favre is washed up"

I'm sorry... isn't the point to have the most points when the clock runs out... and isn't it a GREAT to have a lot of wins NO MATTER HOW they come???

Give me a frickin break!

I don't like it either, but if you think about it, it's good for us.

If i wasnt a Seahawk fan I would be claiming the same thing, I mean look at our hawks, we havent won a playoff game in over 20 years, and we are imfamously known for "falling apart" somewhere down the line.

This team is on their way to the division championship and/or Super Bowl, the last thing we want is everyone talking about how good we are, making us sound so overly good, that we ourselves get cocky and think we are better than we really are and then get blindsided by a team in the playoffs.

This is good, because it will make the Hawks eager to show more, try to gain some respect, what wouldnt piss you off more than being 9-2 and have people say "they are maybe the 2nd or 3rd" best team in the NFC.

As fans we almost had this coming, from season after season of let downs and lost dreams in the matter of 1 game.


We just need to sit tight, we have 1 hard game left against Indy, so as long as the Hawks stay on the boat we will have home field advantage through the playoffs, and then we show what we made of.

Having that home field advantage is absolutely huge for us, We have only lost 1 game at home in the past 2 years, it is not only because it is one of the loudest stadiums, but we are over 1,000 miles from any NFL team, so any team has a big long flight when coming to Seattle.

Ya, I have been watching ESPN and i hear the same crap about the hawks are overated too. we just need to be quite and let them find out what we are made of when we have home field advantage up to the super bowl.
