Seems we always had the "BAD BEAT" when it came down to the ref's, I actually thought this year it was done....

but i stand corrected.....

Gregg Bell, of the Associated Press, reports the Seattle Seahawks were told by the NFL that referee Larry Nemmers made a couple errors in the Week 12 game against the New York Giants. The NFL said touchdown catches by Giants TE Jeremy Shockey and WR Amani Toomer should not have been ruled completions.

That Toomer "catch" was mighty iffy. It looked like his one foot drug out of bounds when the other one came down. Good effort, but it shouldn't have been a TD.

At least we got the win!

Apparently Mike Holmgren either lied or was mis-quoted in the article you mention - TDs were both good and NFL never said otherwise.

And, Wednesday, one day following the date of your link, on NFL Network, they spoke w/ the head referee and he stated that the calls WERE incorrect... Holmgren just isn't allowed to talk about the refs change of heart... hence the punishment.

Go worry about your Grey Cup or something
