Russian squirrel pack 'kills dog'

When good squirrels go bad.

Passers-by were reportedly too late to stop the attack by the black squirrels in a village in the far east, which reportedly lasted about a minute.

They are said to have scampered off at the sight of humans, some carrying pieces of flesh.

"They literally gutted the dog," local journalist Anastasia Trubitsina told Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper.

Komosmolskaya Pravda notes that in a previous incident this autumn chipmunks terrorised cats in a part of the territory.

I saw some black squirells in lincoln last December, but they were'nt ganging up on any dogs. I guess Nebraska is the land of prosperity if you're a squirrel, well comparitively to Lazo russia.

How many friggin squirrels would it take to bring a dog down! The dog must have been sick or dead already. I cant see a dog being overtaken by squirrels unless there were butloads of them.


We have black squirrels around here. They dont seem to be any different then the brown ones.

I read this earlier and freaked out. I thought it was a joke at first, especially when they blamed a lack of pinecones for the attack, but I? guess those little buggers are really that savage.

I have never seen squirrles travel in packs before. How many squirrels do you think you could take on? I'd have to say I could kick some serious squirrel tail. Like maybe 500.
