Although Orton has had more regular season game experience, Grossman has had much more training camp and off-season work with the team. I wouldn't call Grossman a savior but it'd be tough to do worse than Orton. the Bears are winning despite Orton, not because of him.
I don't blame Orton for this, he's had to shoulder a lot more than a 4th round rookie QB should have to. The blame goes back to Angelo and Lovie passing on a veteran QB to compete with Grossman in the first place.
