#5 pick: Bulger...and aside from Housh and Plax, I've since dropped every other player from my draft due to poor performance.

despite this, i've somehow scored the most points in my league.

despite that, i finished three games out of first.

every fantasy football season gets more and more surreal. every year, i say to myself, "there's no way it gets weirder than this." but it does. and it will be weirder next year. somehow.

emily haines (my GIRL), from the band, metric. snarling punk with musically intricate arrangements and explosive social/political commentaries. best live show i've seen in 5 years.

jj arrington (dropped), thomas jones (traded), calico (dropped), colbert (dropped)...i dunno, when you factor in those 4 picks i mentioned earlier, it's not that bad a draft.

but c'est la vie. all about trades and waiver wire hunting.

Crazy... and I thought I had it tough with #1 pick McGahee, #2 Jamal Lewis, #3 Michael Clayton, #4 Andre Johnson. And I'm still in the hunt for the title with a winning record!

I had exactly those picks in one of my Yahoo! leagues... and I'm in first place in it somehow. McGahee, Lewis, Andre Johnson, no Clayton though.
