weeks 15 and 16

Postby jsunde » Wed Dec 07, 2005 2:18 pm

I have been fortunate enough to get a bye week in both my leagues so that I dont have to worry about week 14. So, can you guys think of any players that I might want to pick up now, before the rest of the guys, that should preform well in weeks 15 and 16?

thanks

Shawn Alexander would be a good pick up as would Tomlinson.

JAX D is a great play both weeks if available. With Philly's problems, STL D is almost as good.

Position players it's even harder to guess who is available.

Since your league doesn't include week 17, I wouldn't even consider Rhodes or Morris. They are mediocre plays even if the studs ahead of them sit, but neither will probably see much play in week 16.

Eric Parker is probably a good play if you need a WR given SD will be in two shootouts (Indy & KC).

You should go ahead and pickup L. Johnson, the dude is a straight beast! Other then that you may (just may) want to give C. Palmer a look or two, he is currently on my watchlist. Good luck! ;-D

Stephen Jackson should do great if you already had him.

Ryan Fitzpatrick will be a good start in the championship game if you need QB help. David Garrard would be a good one to play in week 15. Watch how both of them do this week as a guage.

Jimmy Smith and any Jags receivers and Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce and any Rams receivers.

RB Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte, Lesean McCoy
WR Brandon Marshall, Kenny Britt

I don't know what you have at QB, but Garrard and now Tuiasosopo have a NICE schedule during those two weeks.

I am going to assume that most of the guys mentioned above are no longer available. For instance I am assuming that Carson Palmer isn't chilling on your waiver wire.

Also, Phi has a nice schedule, but anyone over there is a risky play. But Moats may still be available if you need a RB.

Ok im not sure why people are telling me to look at S.A, L.T., and Cason Palmer. Im talking about people that could be picked up off the waiver wire. The positioin that I am most concerned about is QB because I have Peyton Manning, and not much of a back-up in Steve McNair, and I'm worried about how much time Peyton will be given to play. I have already checked and Garrard and Fitzpatrick have both been taken. So is there anyone else worth grabbing? I guess i need to be more specific with my questions.

no dude...look past their words...they're being sarcastic with you...

gerrard is a nice pick...i dislike tui....

moats may have some value...who knows with m.bennett...or t.j. duckett....dominick rhodes might see some time...jj arrington has looked good as of late...none of these guys are special but hey, its probably all that may be available...

dont forget about koren robinson and marcus robinson, as well as eric parker at wide receiver...

if ben troupe isnt owned yet, e.kinney had surgery and will be out for a while...
