Trash Talk: Chi @ Pitt

Not going to start a PBC because this isn't a rivalry...but I'll sure do some trash talking since this board seems to be infested with Bears fans (yes, there does seem to be some leftover from the 80s).


Ole Steeler's D has been getting passed on some the past few weeks, but that all ends this week against the anemic Bears O. Low scoring game here!

I agree on the low scoring game. The Bears certainly won't score a lot of points unless Lovie pulls something out of his hat. It will take a good effort by the Bear D to win this one.

I'm really looking forward to this game, it should be a good one. I don't think the Steelers can move the ball against the Bears like they did against Cincy. The Bears can be vulnerable to long passes and if Ward or Randle El can break loose they could get a TD.

The Bears should be able to run the ball, they're at least as good as the Bengals run offense. I have a bad feeling about Orton, he's taken a lot of flack this past week and may try to force the ball. I say this every week about the Bears but it should come down to turnovers, big plays and mistakes. I do have a feeling Roethlisberger will spend a lot of time on his back.

Or maybe the Bears D forced him to play a bad game. And you Packers fans should be use to Favre throwing interceptions by now.

yeah i don't think it's coincidence that all these quarterbacks are having "worst game ever" against the bears.

There is one single key to this game...Pitt's running game.

Big Ben's decision making depends on it. Quite honestly I was shocked at his performance last week. A lot of people will say "Oh, he threw those interceptions because he has a bad thumb". Well, that's just an excuse. His throws were not affected by his thumb at all. He put zip on balls, and his lofts were pretty and accurate. He just forced the ball one too many times. All those INTs came from him throwing into double, triple, and yes one into quadruple coverage. Seriously, if that was Maddox out there throwing those exact same passes, everybody would be booing and blaming him.

Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, he's a good QB but it seems when the Steelers can't get the running game going, he starts forcing things. Just look at the playoffs last year.

That being said...you can still mark a win for the Steelers this week.
