Does Dicky V. have a medical degree or is he pulling the media's leg with Holmes this week. I have read it was his ribs that were sore but the official IR says it is his calf. The great big atta-boy I gave myself for drafting Holmes in the first round is now withering with the fear that my best player is falling apart after only 2 weeks. It seems to me that sore ribs/calf should be no big deal in the NFL. He wasn't having any MRI or other serious testing done this week. It seems the media is way to eager to slam the door on Holmes. Too many caries, too old, blah, blah, blah. IMO he is the #1 FF player around this year. Any other opinions or info out there I would like to hear them.

If you have real concerns over the prognosis for Holmes, I will give you the number of his owner in my league and maybe I can pry him away! He may be banged up from time to time but he is THEE MAN! There are no garauntees in the NFL when it comes to injuries.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

Sep. 19 Priest Holmes (RB) KC returned to practice Thursday after taking Wednesday off to recover from some bumps and bruises, according to the KC Star. "He was fine, he looked good," Chiefs coach Dick Vermeil said. "He took more reps than I thought he would."
After hearing all the talk of him being banged up all year, this makes me feel a lot better about having him on my team.
I live in Austin, used to workout with UT players during the summer back in the early 1990's. Yes, I'm old. Anyway's. From meeting Priest Holmes and seeing how hard he worked out all the time and how much pride he has. He will give it his all everytime guys. He came back hard from a torn knee his senior year at UT. You couldn't ask for a better person to play on your team. You don't see him in all of the t.v. ads and stuff, but he has been the best back in the league for over two years now and still doesn't get the respect. Great person. On everyone's RB's FF rankings I'd see L.T., Ricky, Portis etc. Priest is #1 and will remaim that barring a huge injury. These little bumps and bruises happen, no big deal. He is as tough as they come.
Good Luck and don't give up on the Priest. I know he won't.
