Don't Make THIS Auto Draft Mistake!

Recently on nfl.com I autodrafted in the nfl815 league. Ten guys tried to snag Warner, Garcia, or Manning in the first round. The result was:

10 QB's drafted in the 1st round.

I got Marshall Faulk with the fourth pick.

Ahman Green went with the 8th pick.

QB Michael Vick became a 1st round pick (you can usally pick him up in the 5th to 7th rounds).

Shaun Alexander fell to the 2nd round.

The most fun for me was picking up Deuce McAllister for my bench, behind Faulk and George.

I know what you mean, I was picking 7th in a 14 team yahoo autodraft and got Alexander, George, Bledsoe and McAllister with my top 4 picks! (Champ Bailey was pick 2.14???)

You may end up starting McAllister over George before too long.

That's quite a draft! Autodrafts can get weird, but 10 QBs in round one is something else!

In my CNNSI auto draft I was the only one to change things. 1st round was all QB's, 2nd was all RB's, 3rd was all WR's except for me getting W. Dunn. This is what I ended up with:

At QB I drafted Superbowl MVP Tom Brady, and I also picked up Trent Green. I think I'm solid at that position, if not spectacular. The vastly improved tight end situation in New England is going to add some TDs to Brady's numbers.

I got Duece McAllister as a backup to Shaun Alexander and Priest Holmes! I didn't pick a quarterback until round five -- after two RBs and two WRs -- and I got Aaron Brooks. My receivers are Marvin Harrison and Torry Holt. Go figure...
