ranked on up there with

"Sky to remain blue"
and
"Brady to remain homosexual"

in all seriousness, in regards to being picked by a "crappy team," this isn't always true. Some abysmal teams only need a couple components to be contenders again.

And its not like these draft picks don't have a choice. Just ask Eli Manning or John Elway... :-#

Tom Brady being homosexual is relevant how? You guys do realize those types of comments are along the same lines as sexist and racist ones.

Grow up ladies.

From the Public Message Board Police? :-D

Seriously, nobody is being homophobic. It's just a comment, and I'm sure it wasn't meant as being offensive. You have to kid people about SOMETHING, and being gay (or not) is just one more thing on the long list of things to accuse people of, like driving a Hyundai or being a Packers fan.

When gauging the "offensiveness" of a comment, you have to take into account the context of the discussion as well as what was said. This was not an attack on gays, just some mild ribbing. I would take it the same if someone accused me of being a Pagan even though I'm Christian. I COULD be offended by it, but why?

Pfft, you're a Bears fan, ergo, you're a Pagan. The one saving grace keeping your soul from being damned for all of eternity is that you place your trust in Herbie Husker. ;-)
