I think what you need to do here is put yourself in a great big diaper, Metroid, and demand being fed a 'bottle(s)' of your fav pilsner. Don't forget to sprinkle in liberal amounts of 'uh oh, someone's pee-pee again....'

Seriously though, I think you're doing the responsible thing Met. I wish more adults would make as mature of decisions as you guys are. You're not sure so you're choosing not to possibly put a kid in a situation where you wouldn't be able to provide him/her with the home you'd want to. And, of course, I was just kidding. If one parent doesn't want kids, even if they'll say they want them because their husband/wife does, it's not a good idea. It's not exactly a decision that can be compromised.

For the record I know we would make good parents we're both very loving, nurturing people, Shannon especially would make a wonderful mother. We're both very stable and could provide if we chose to, we just don't choose to right now. I joke about how much of a big kid myself I am but thats mostly just joking...yeah mostly.

Seriously though we have talked about it and just feel we're not ready, maybe we'll never be ready. I also have other obligations right now that a baby would not mesh with.

It was mean spirited so I removed it. I really don't think there's anything wrong with finding mean spirtited humor funny, but I personally don't want to perpetuate it... if that makes sense.

generally i agree with you, i'm usually one of the last people to take offense to thing, i just found that one to be in extremely poor taste
