I have taken a good hint, GSOE. Thanks for the advice. I currently have 7 owners from the Cafe that have joined this league, and 3 guys from our CFFL that are also Cafe members.

What hint exactly are you wanting me to take? Even though some of them haven't posted on this thread, they have emailed me and signed up. I just keep this thread updated, do you have an issue with that? Or are you just trying to say something else?

I got the following information off of NFL.com. This will be the basis and reasoning behind following that schedule here in the Real Deal NFFL. I have made the necassary corrections to adapt the real NFL schedule to fit our fantasy needs.

The scheduling formula implemented in Real Deal NFFL guarantees that all teams play each other on a regular, rotating basis.

Under the formula, every team within a division plays 16 games as follows:

Home and away against its three division opponents (6 games).
The four teams from another division within its conference on a rotating three-year cycle (4 games).
The four teams from a division in the other conference on a rotating four-year cycle (4 games).
Two intraconference games based on the prior year’s standings (2 games). These games match a first-place team against the first-place teams in the two same-conference divisions the team is not scheduled to play that season. The second-place, third-place, and fourth-place teams in a conference are matched in the same way each year.
Each team will play a doubleheader in the weeks voted on in the doubleheader poll.

The format takes each team through a cycle of games – home and away – against every other team in the league. Every team will play every other team at least twice – once home and once away -- between 2002 and 2009. After the 2009 season, a decision will be made on whether to continue with the same rotation or modify it.

The scheduling format includes the following elements:

There is an increased common-opponent emphasis with every team in a division playing against 14 common opponents.
All teams play each other on a regular basis, home and away, for a more consistent presentation of attractive games, eliminating the many schedule aberrations of the past.
Teams are guaranteed to play all non-division opponents in their conference at least once every three years, and at home at least once every six years.
Every AFC team plays every NFC team once every four years, and at home once every eight years.
A team’s record from the previous year has less of a bearing on its schedule, with only two (rather than four) opponents being based on the previous year’s standing. Thus, the so-called “easy” fifth-place schedules have been eliminated.
The division in which a team resides is less of a factor in a team’s won-loss record with 10 of 16 games each year being against non-division teams.

Guys, I hope this helps out with any questions regarding the way the NFL decides on and balances each team's schedule. This should be a great setup and provide our league with competitive, random, and balanced scheduling

I had an owner in our league come into some bad family problems and has decide to resign. I had another one just dedide that he didn't want to be active enough.

So we have 2 spots that have opened back up. Let me know if any of you would like to join "lushmd" as well as other Cafe guys in this league.

Teams available:
