I'm gonna assume (correctly, I hope) that we win our first playoff game and therefore PLAN on going to the NFC Championship game! Wow... what a rush that would be!! Hard to imagine after almost 30 years of being a Seahawk fan to actually go to that game.

So...

Any of you loyal fans have an idea how to get tickets without paying too dearly for them. That is, assuming we win playoff game #1.

"paying dearly" is relative.

What's your idea?

I'm actually going to ask my GF about this. She purchased tickets to the first game for me for Xmas. Not too shabby a gift, eh? Glad I didn't buy her an oven, treadmill or vacuum...

:-o

I semi-plan on riding this train all the way to the Superbowl if I have to. ;-D

Yea, more like an arm and a left nut......u know it aint gonna be anywhat cheap at all. you be better spending $400 on a gun and holding someone up for their ticket, much cheaper....but seriously if you can get your hands on some tix i think it will be worth it, we are going to have a great shot at the SP run this year and we are going to have a lot of hawks on FA after this season so who knows what can happen.

BTW...off topic, anyone heard of wayne maybe signing with Seattle in 2006 and we lose Engram?

I figure I'll use my 2005 FF winnings and be willing to go $250 - $350 for a pair.

I haven't heard of that at all. I just did a little research and that didn't really turn anything up on the rumormill. With the overall group of free agents this year and the expected loss of Joe Jurevicius who really helped us when we needed him most, I think we can expect a big name receiver to come in.

Darrell Jackson has been fantastic when playing but his injury bothers me for some reason. I think it might be time to invest in our passing game. Besides, we need someone to come in a stretch the field and become the playmaker Koren was supposed to be.

Wayne could certainly be a solid option. Personally, even though he's a restricted free agent, I would like to see Brandon Lloyd come here. I think he simply needs a solid QB and running game to become the next superstar WR.

That's before signing unrestricted and restricted free agents. Factor in Alexander's and Hutchinson's monster contracts and there's not much room to work with.

Hutch is getting the tag. No doubt.

Agreed. There's no better use for it than with him. His contract might actually cost more than the average top 5. ;)

I would like to see him sign a long term deal but really this isn't advantageous for the Hawks as they'll likely then have both Hutch and Jones leaving at the same time. Talk about massive destruction...
