Fantasy League Trophy ideas

We've had our league for 12 years (and I just won for the 3rd time. Thanks Shaun Alexander!), but we still have never had a trophy. I want to buy/make one, but I don't want just any old standard trophy. I'm looking for ideas for trophies that are unique, funny or interesting. Maybe tell me what your league uses as a trophy.

I'd like it to be a rotating trophy with the winners from each year.

For the toilet bowl trophy you should find the biggest, stinkiest nastiest pile of poop you can and stick a Kevin Jones football card in it since almost everyone that drafted this turd is in the toilet bowl.

For the real thing I'd like to get one of those wooden footballs like they have on NFL channel for the celeb game they host. That thing is wicked cool.

an ebay store has pretty good replicas of the lombardi trophy at a decent price.

This is the one I bought for my league a couple of year's ago. The dissapointment was they didn't engrave they printed the letters on the plates. In any case I had them do up the past champions too. Have to get a plate engraved each year but no big deal.

You may also just want to go to a trophy/awards place. You can pretty much "design your own" based upon the features they offer. A yellow pages search found several stores in my area.

i was looking for something kind of off-the-wall though. none of this generic trophy stuff. i am talking about toilet seats, etc.

anybody got any unique ideas?

Well I'm not sure if this is of the wall but this was my idea for this year.

My girlfriend works at a print shop, so she can make stickers and labels and such. So I'm having her make label that resembles the Budweiser or beer logo with our league name, the year, winnining team name, 05-06 Champion.....you get the idea. And place it on a 40oz bottle. Then have similar labels for 2nd and 3rd place....have 2nd on a 22oz and 3rd on a 12 oz. Hand them out at the awards party(for us usually during the Superbowl) and drink up!

Maybe not as cool as an engraved traveling trophy, but at least you can take it home and keep it as a momento on the mantle(if the old lady will let you).

Cool idea.

Here is what I did in my league. Last year we had trophies that looked like the heisman and we had several categories... like Best Coaching rating... Most Points Fielded.. etc..etc..

But this year instead of trophies I gave out cash prizes. We had our normal 1st - 3rd payout. I also gave cash to the winner of the loser bracket.. aka Toilet Bowl. And finally I gave out cash I called "Door Prizes" The categories were Worst Record in the League, Most Points Fielded and Least Points Allowed. One team could not win twice. For an example the winner of 1st-3rd and the Toilet Bowl did not qualify for the door prizes.

So instead of spending money on trophies I had 7 teams out of 5 walk away with something.

A few years back our league had a framed copy of the Time magazine with Vince Lombardi on the cover and the league winner got to keep it until he was unseated. When the League disolved the magazine went back to the original owner.
