Laurence Maroney just announced hes going to enter the draft. He should be the 3rd runningback taken.

I don't think he's def. the #3 RB taken by any means. He basically looked average at best in that game and if Lendale White comes out early it could be close to see who gets taken first White or Maroney.

Not a surprising move at all. I don't like Maroney as much as both and is my #4 RB assuming everyone comes out, still is a 1st rounder.

Yea I watched the game today and he just doesn't seem to be in the same class as DeAngelo Williams, and certainly not Reggie Bush. If Lendale white comes out I think he will get chosen before Maroney.

I liked his first statement after asked about going pro: "I played really good." What do they teach there at Minnesota? ;-)

Agreed. You guys obviously havn't watched Maroney much this year if you are saying hes not even in Williams Class.

He will wow scouts at the combine when he runs a sub 4.45 40. Watch. ;-)

He is going to go behind Bush, Williams, and Lendale White (if and when he comes out). If enough teams decide to wait on RBs he could slip to the end of the the 1st round.

I have not been all that impressed with maroney. he does have big run capability and he can turn a loss into a gain but he looked weak yesetrday. 130 yards i thyink? he was not the Heisman hopeful he was hyped to be in September.

If White comes out, (which he probably won't) and gets drafted over Maroney I will wear the Avatar of your choice untill the 2006 NFL season starts.
