I like what I see so far. 24-7 Red Zone offense is weak though, hopefully thatll pick up in the 2nd half
Go Gators
I wouldn't go that far. If Nelson was in, that TD doesn't happen. Nelson is noticably faster than Jackson as well as lays the wood and there's no way that TD catch happens with Nelson in there.
UF will let Iowa make it a game here in the fourth, but they'll still win. Hopefully Iowa can cut it to three and don't let UF cover the spread. Not that I had cash on it.

Nothin' major...me and my buddy bet $10 on every bowl game...he picks a winner then I pick one, etc. He picked the Gators, so of course they come through when I have to go against them.

Told ya.
The Gators got all the calls today - BS running into the kicker, unneccessary roughness at the end of the first half leads to a score.
There was no one offsides on that onside kick - brutal call. Yeah, the Gators looked good at times, but there's no way they should have needed some big calls to put this Iowa team away. Gotta give them credit.

I think the place where they really could have put the game away was with the first two drives. After the blocked punt TD, they had 2 drives of 4+ minutes, 10+ plays, both over 60 yards, and got only 3 combined points.
On another note, Meyer's fake punt from his own 20 was the craziest thing I've ever seen, by far. I thought it was a stupid call but I guess it paid off.
Yea those officials were terrible. I don't think I've ever heard an announcer as vocal about the officiating as the one announcer in this game was. And rightfully so, that last call cost Iowa any chance at coming back....it's pathetic how the officiating crew could screw up that badly.
I loved Chris Spielman's (color guy) reaction to the call:
"Are you KIDDING ME!?"
When the Hawks recovered it, I was just laughing as a Gator fan -trust me, we've seen it all before. I was bummed when they threw that bogus flag - I wanted to watch Tate try to conduct another miraculous bowl comeback. Last year's Capital One Bowl was great.
'Twas a fun year, fellas.
