Wow.
Jim Johnson would be a solid replacement.
I did not see this one coming with all the injuries we had this year.

This is a bit unexpected coming so quickly. I'd like to see Ron Rivera get a shot at the job.

Sherman had been mentioned as being on the hot seat...but I didn't think it would happen either. It will be interesting to see if this has any effect on Favre's decision to come back.

Ron Rivera is so overrated. Just because the Bears have good players on defense doesn't mean the defensive coordinator should be a head coach. Remember in 2001 when the Bears went 13-3, Greg Blache was the DC at the time and everyone was saying what a great head coach he'd be? No dice.

Thompson is a very smart man.. He's the reason the Seahawks are 13-3.. Look at the guys he brought in and the slackers he avoided...
First move for Packers, he hires Jim Bates..AWESOME MOVE..

I hope B.J. Sander gets the same plane ride out of Green Bay.

I am rooting for Brad Childress of the Eagles or Tim Lewis of the Giants... They would be excellent coaches.
