I figured that was going to happen. They were discussing this on some sportstalk radio the other day - basically Gregg knows that Gibbs cant go on forever, so he's just being patient about it. Ultimately, Williams wants to be the Skins HC when Gibbs retires.
Why is Williams such a hot candidate right now? He was fired from the Bills after three seasons because his teams "lacked mental toughness" according to a few sources that I read.
