This sounds unreasonable at first, but think about it. Matt Leinart could very well pull an "Eli" and demand a trade, considering the fact that the Saints aren't even sure where they're going to play next (or if they'll be relocated to L.A.). People criticized Eli for what he did, but John Elway did the same thing with Baltimore and Elway is regarded as one of the greatest QBs of all time. Eli is now in a better situation than Brees. So, Matt Leinart, go ahead and pull an "Eli" and then Favre can go to the Saints.
