i would usually agree that urlacher is the most overrated linebacker or player over a career i've seen...
hes had lots of bad years to go with a couple good ones...
however, when hes healthy and has lots of healthy talent around him that does their jobs and keeps blockers off of him, hes one of the best....so i'll give him his credit this season...he deserves the defensive player of the year...
basically his only faults or his injury-proneness and inability to avoid blocks of lineman..

Please, 1.) Show me the bad years. and 2.) Tell me how getting one injury that causes you to miss 7 out of 96 total games results in you being "injury prone"?

he's knicked up quite often...he has had a huge impact this year and i clearly stated that i respect what hes done this year...no reason to be offended by that...i'll give him his credit where his credit is due....
but for years he's been highly touted and hasnt made that great of an impact, or not as much as he's hyped up to have done...if you have a different opinion, theres nothing i can do to change your mind b/c we are talking about a defensive player and defensive players cant be measured by stats...its just something i have felt...just as you have felt differently....
my opinion= OVER-RATED
