2 questions washamur - wat font did u use for the steve smiths # and is it one layer slightly smaller then placed on top of another layer to create the border around the #???

Just guessing, but I imagine he rendered the type layer then added a stroke, assuming he's using Photoshop.

The font for Steve Smith's name is Scriptina (or something like that)

For the number is Sports Jersey, I just did it in black w/ a blue'ish 1px stroke and a slight drop shadow.
