Yeah i'm still with the dial up too, and I play on texasholdem.com I think that's it. it's a free site where you can play with fake money or you can start an account. I havn't seen it mentioned here but I like it. ;-D

if you guys are looking for another good free site for freerolls(tournaments), jetsetpoker.com is a good place to start, also I have another one for freerolls, it's a free poker school, but I can't remember off the top of my head right now.

I don't care what you say because you obviously don't have a clue - now let the grown-ups talk...

For a good weekly freeroll (for those who are new that means no cash to enter with real cash payout) http://www.bet365poker.com has one every week on Saturdays with a 5000$ payout - top 300 or so make money and first place is 900$ - I placed 123rd out of 3753 last year around this time - made me a cool 1.45 or something like that LOL...

Now it's closer to 10k players every week apparently...

It's just a bunch of rumors. There's a lot of money to be made on internet poker. When people say that the sites rigged, it's just that they can't get over poker itself. If they played in a real casino and played as many hands live as on the internet, just about everything that happens is the same. Any poker site would be stupid to even try to get more money out of it by cheating of any kind(even huge legal ramifications). Internet Poker is a Billion-dollar business, they wouldn't risk it to make a few more dollars...

Agree 100%.

The online poker companies don't have to rig anything. They make all their money through advertising and the 'rake' in certain tournaments which is a very small % that goes to them.

Otherwise, all the money that goes into the pot (in tournaments) is given back to all the players.

No way it's rigged. Some people have experienced 'bad beats' and they think they lost because the game is rigged. Sorry folks...THAT'S POKER!!

If you watch the 1st day coverage of the 2005 WSOP you will see Jennifer Harmon (pro) have a very 'bad beat'. She had a full house which in no-limit hold 'em almost never gets beat. The guy she was playing against hit a straight flush on the river. Was that rigged? No. That's poker. Play enough hands live or online and you to will experience a 'bad beat'. I've lost to a straight flush when I had 4 of a kind. You can lose a straight flush to a higher straight flush. That's poker.

Lest us not forget the wide contributions of Canadians to the World. For example, these two great actors come readily to mind:

On the screen, we come across PHILLIP, a very handsome Canadian star with a great body.

PHILLIP: Say Terrance, what did the Spanish Priest say to the Uranian gynecologist?

PAN OVER to TERRANCE, who is also Canadian, and equally handsome in a more rugged way.

TERRANCE: I don't know, Phillip, what?

Phillip rips a big fart. Terrance and Phillip laugh merrily.

(from the script of South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut)

Another reason you should play live poker. Most B&M poker rooms have a jackpot for that, the one I play at hits big most of the time, over $100k paid out....
