Does anybody know any free, good programs that you have used to clear up some spyware??? Any help would be great!

Try Microsofts Beta version of it's Antispyware program:

I found this one to be very good and I have it loaded on all my PC's.

I would also use:

http://www.tucows.com/preview/317392

To clean up your registery and do a cleanup of the system.

Then I would also use:

http://smartprotector.com/eraser/?id=gg

to clear up the index.dat files which cleaning the cache doesn't clear. This should help.

You might have to use a combination of things to clear the spyware off (AdAware like Lush suggested).

to really get it clean id go to http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/index.php and go under the malware removal and follow the steps and they will tell you what to do. None of the free programs can do it as good as that when you have already been infected

I was just about to post looking for free antivirus programs, after doing a bit of research.
I'm sick of paying for a subscrib every year.
AVG looked to be the best free one I found at download.com, and then I found this thread with a recommendation from a (seemingly ) trustworthy guy.

Microsoft Anti-spyware

Also, AVG is a great free anti-virus to have. It gives you full protection and it's free. Can't beat that.

On a related side note, I highly recommend that anyone needing to clean-up their computer, download and try Ashampoo WinOptimizer. Just register for the free trial(its worth it) It cleans up junk files on the hard drive, registry, and a lot more. I noticed that everything moved faster and smoother after doing everything this program offered
