I don't know if any of you guys would have noticed, but last night something that I find rather funny happened.
Ebuamsworld.com is notorious on the internet for taking the things that other sites post and passing them off as their own, and then profitting by using advertisements+merch.
Anyways, a few days ago they stole something from YTMND (You're the man now, dog), a large online community, and YTMND decided that it had had enough.
YTMND, along with other large internet communities such as General [M]ayhem (aka Gen[M]ay) and Something Awful, have pretty much declared war on Ebaum's and have been attacking Ebaum's forums, as well as doing other nasty computer things.
Just thought I'd let you guys know

lol, i was kinda waiting for something like this to happen, im curious what you mean by attacking their forums? like with hate posts or what? i cant access the forums w/o registering which i dont wanna do.

From what I've heard they pretty much spammed it up. I'm not registered there either. There are lots of ytmnds about it, if you look around you can probably find some.
All they have to do is sue the creators of the site, and I'm sure this crazy crap would stop. Nothing like getting slapped with a $100,000,000 class action lawsuit for copyright infringement.

This was huge. I was in on it. EBaums stole the Lindsay Lohan Facial expression from YTMND, and that was the last straw. They got there forums, LUE and LUELinks, Something Awful, Fark, 4Chan, GameFaqs, Penny Arcade, and some others to mass spam Ebaums world, start ruining his bandwidth by using a program to download his entire site, and sending him thousands of free boxes via the USPS. It was basically Eric Bauman vs the Internet, and the Internet won. Easily.

LOL, thats hilarious, thanks for the info Sweetness i was wondering what they were doing with the site, besides forum spamming and stuff.
