Sorry cafe-ers, for my absense over the past month or so... The Dude has been galavanting all over this fine country interviewing for various and sundry jobs, as well as visiting the fam in Spokane for a week over the Holiday season (normally I would just say Christmas, but eff Bill O'reilly).
Anywho, old Duder has accepted a job at the State University of New York at Buffalo and will be moving to that fine wintery climate in August. I made them put a clause in my contract that under no circumstances do I have to root for the Bills.
So, hopefully you'll see me hanging around the cafe a bit more. I ended up falling on my fantasy face in my big bragging rights non-money league, and then winning my money league this year. Honestly, I'd rather have it the other way around because the bragging rights league meant far more. But oh well... I'll take my money.
I am the Walrus.

Nice... I was punished for four years living in DC having to watch the Steve Spurrier era on TV every damned week. If there is any justice in the world, the game will be a stomping.

So the Great Lakes state didn't get it done for ya eh?
I actually got the offer for the Grand Rapids job, and I really liked it there when I visited. Buffalo was just a better job (money, benefits, type of university, workload, etc.).
