Yeah and look at cha' now . . . the dorkiest kid at the cafe hehe
I remember Jams which also reminds me that in the 80's Vans got real big due to fast times at ridgemont.
Chuck Taylors are a timeless shoe from 50's so they don't count. They are the best creek stomping shoes ever

I remember the long shorts, but I dont recall calling them jams. I dont remember what we called them. Seems like I remember the trademark being some little Hawaiian dude with google eyes.
Seems all you guys listend to pop music in the 80's. Didnt anybody here rock? Heavy metal and glam bands. Kiss taking off the make-up. Girls with the Body Glove dresses, big hair, and stilletoes. Oh yea!

I listened to Quiet Riot, Iron Maiden, Rush, Pink Floyd, Ozzy, Twisted Sister, REO Speedwagon (back in the day), Motley Crue, Led Zeppelin, Dokken, Ratt, Twisted Sister - the list goes on.
I still had Metal Health on vinyl until I sold it a few years ago. I can still name the four members of Quiet Riot (post Randy Rhoades) who made that album.

Uh, Tawny Kitaen, nuff said.
I like simple pleasures, like butter in my ass, lollipops in my mouth. That's just me.

Who else other than me remembers parachute pants in the 80's?
We felt damn lucky to even have pants in my day.
Of course, you aren't a child of the 80s unless you had parachute pants or made fun of the kids wearing the parachute pants. Middle school days for me. I was the make funner.
We were damn lucky to even have pants back in the day. Vader - You could've easily been handed your ass in your hands by an underwear boy at my school
