One of my roomies at college can do it while he stares at you. Basically it he did it until he rocognized the pattern and then did the rest in like 20 moves or so. The cube really isn't that hard once you figure out the moves to do. He taught most of the guys how to do it and we had it figured out like that in a snap. I also looked on the internet where they have java cubes, but they never solved it the way he did. It was wierd.

Even doing it that way, I couldn't "solve" the thing in 11 seconds.

That's just crazy!

That's how I solve it, or just throwing it against a brick wall is fun too ;-D

I'm a bit ashamed to admit this, but I can blame it on the Dudette. So, the wife watches the show Beauty and the Geek on the WB, and so hence, I watch the show (just like I watch football and hence the Dudette now understands the difference between false start and off side, something that had long alluded her). One of the "geeks" on there can solve the Rubik's cube in under 15 seconds behind his back. It was pretty damned impressive.

Honestly, that is the only way that I could solve the darn thing.

Isn't that how you're supposed to do it? :-b

That's what I was thinking!

I used to be able to solve it but can't figure out the last part (bottom) anymore.

That's insane solving it in 11+ seconds.
