I recall seeing Shatner on "Jimmy Kimmel Live", and Jimmy coming up with the idea, and joking with him to selling it. After a few chuckles, Jimmy said, "No really, we should sell it, and give the money to charity".

Perhaps it isn't Shatner that is twisted, or strange...
