Obviously, they're used in automobiles for giving driving directions, but they're also used for locating stolen cars. Beware car thieves! }:-)

Is there some sort of GPS tracker I could put on my daughter for when we go overseas? She's three and I'd hate to lose her...

used on golf courses. they tell you the distance to the hole from where your cart is. pretty useless, when there is a damn sprinkler head with the distance 6 feet away from you. but if you don't hit it in the fairway, like i do, then it could be handy. ;-7

Thanks for the tip, but after reading some of the reviews I may just stick with tying her to me with a rope.

I actually have a Heart Rate Monitor that I use when I am running that also contains a GPS system. It allows me to track my exact distance that I ran and my pace and along with I can cross reference where I am when say my heart rate increases or decreases. It is actually a really handy and cool gadget that I got myself for X-mas this year.
