Rams | Sources says Linehan will get head coaching job
Wed, 18 Jan 2006 15:14:56 -0800

Clark Judge, of CBS SportsLine.com, reports the St. Louis Rams are set to hire Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Scott Linehan as their head coach, according to league sources. The Rams are expected to make an announcement no later than Monday, Jan. 23.

I'm glad St. Louis didn't include Mike Zimmer in its finalists... I love that guy. Good job for Linehan though. It will be nice to see how well he can do with competent offensive players, right Vaderfan? :-D

I definately thought St. Louis would go defense after having a couple offensive minded guys in a row. Now lets see if Linehan can right the ship.

Does Linehan believe in protecting the QB? If so I like the hire. Seeing Bulger get battered keeps me from drafting him. If he can stay healthy and have time to pass.......

atleast he seemed to like to run the bal in miami as ricky and ronnie both had productive seasons (together and individually). could be a good thing for jackson owners.
