This guy isn't a "kid". Some of you older guys need to get out of your belief that video games are a strictly child thing, since the age of the average gamer in the world is about 29 years old.

39 and still a gamer, will be for as long as I can use a PC! or a console.

Is that a Texas Instruments computer sitting on the shelf??!! They had a football game that was the bomb back in the day. Me and my buddies wasted many hours playing that! Man i wish i could get my hands on one and the football game again!

Nothing beat "Techmobowl" for the NES though!!!

Heh, we used to play the baseball for the original Nintendo. It was no use trying to pitch to Daryl Strawberry, so we beaned him every time he was up. It became a standing joke between us, and whenever we'd get together, someone inevitibly would gather the troops and initiate a new Strawberry and yell "Bean Strawberry!" and we'd all turn on him and throw anything within range at him without warning, so long as it wasn't breakable and wouldn't physically damage him. But psychologically, that's a different story. If you hear "Bean Strawberry!", hit the deck. I know this didn't really have anything to do with the link, but I saw Tecmo Bowl mentioned and it sparked this in my brain and I had to share.

Techmobowl was sweet too, but the T.I. game was just strictly from a coaching standpoint. You called the play and the computer ran it for you. It was long before techmo bowl and rather simplistic but still the best we had back then.

I wish I would have never sold my older stuff for upgrades at the time. Luckily I've been able to buy an NES and a SNES back with some games. So that would just make 5 systems that I have not including handhelds. I used to be huge into playing games(Gran Turismo is my favorite, first forum I ever joined back in the early days.)

I definately envy his room, though my wife would probably go crazy
