I have trouble believing that those pictures are true.
CNN is reporting it, so it's probably true, though.

It is true, but even CNN said the largest jellyfish can have a diamater of up to 6 feet 7 inches. If this is accurate, the first picture at the beginning of this thread can't possibly be real. Keep in mind that the man is in the foreground. Even if the man was only 5 feet tall, the jellyfish in that first photo would be at least 20 feet in diameter.
