At first I was dissappointed the boys weren't gonna wear the black & gold but maybe there's a method to his madness. As I recall, the Steelers wore white for their first SB win and black for the next 3 wins (can't remember what they wore for the loss to Dallas). Oh well, I'll still wear my lucky black jersey! http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=a ... &type=lgns
Pittsburgh is 1-0 in their white jerseys in the super bowl and 3-1 in the black.

No matter, the Stiller unis always look pretty good. Kinda tough and football-like.
Their choice will put the Seahawks in their metallic-blue home jerseys. Seattle's record was 10-2 in the regular season and playoffs while wearing blue this season

Actually i think it is and i like it. Just gives Seattle another reason to have to prove something once again, gives them more incentive to show everybody up to gain some respect.
It's not that i dont agree, we're way up here, where the closest NFL team us is 1,000+ miles away(49ers) so of coarse everyone would think of us as the outsider.
But I will say Pittsburgh did gain the favorite after beating all the AFC teams.....I bet they wouldnt have been favored if they played Seattle in the first round.

That's exactly what it had to do with. If it's not broken, don't fix it. I think it's a smart move.

Well....it honestly shouldn't make a difference in the game but for some teams it does give a mental edge or disadvantage in a sense if they are wearing the "wrong" color uniform. PIT has been on a roll in their away uniforms and so it's just to help their mindset. Has more of an impact than you would think though....
For those wishing to know, I will be wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt during the Super Bowl. Most likely I will adorn my feet with a comfy pair of Ugg, fleece lined slippers although there is an outside chance that I may wear my Nike tennis shoes.
I'm undefeated when wearing this attire.
Carry on.
