Moss Comment on Culpepper

Postby Calyxes » Wed Jan 25, 2006 7:57 pm

Meanwhile, Moss said Monday on Sporting News Radio that he would welcome Culpepper in Oakland despite the pair's differences during their final year together in 2004.

"One thing I have come to figure out," Moss said, "is that this game that we play has gotten me and Daunte kind of distant. But, I think about reuniting us, or something like that, and taking it to another level. I'm not saying he is going to become a Raider, but if there was any interest in bringing him to Oakland, I've got my arms open to anybody who wants to come out here and win a Super Bowl. That's what I'm working for."

I would like to see them play together in OAK. At least the Raiders would be exciting to watch again.

isn't that what tampa said?

sometimes "long term" is a silly concept.

I heard a caller on WIP talk about "long term" QB options for the eagles. unless you want to draft a guy who will take 5 years to develop, what is the point?

In the reverse, from the vikes perspective, they could go into a win now mode, and frankly, johnson could win as many cames as cpepp in the next two years, so why not go with him, and develop something more long term on the fly?
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.
